Autumnal Prospect Park

Autumnal Prospect Park

I spent my very lazy Sunday afternoon wandering Prospect Park. After finding the Audubon Center, I climbed my way to the balcony and found this spectacular view of vibrant foliage framing the Lullwater Bridge.

If you ever find yourself in the thick of the park and hear a running brook, try to find its source. Popularly known as ‘The Ravine’, this rather small space is home to many migrating birds as well as year-round beauties. It’s also where you’ll see Ambergil Falls. This was where I had my first hawk-sighting; devouring the rodent it had just caught.
